27 Years (or 14,191,200 Minutes)

27 years ago today, I made my entrance into the Friedrich household. I was going to do something creative and list 27 things I've learned since then, or 27 memories I have from various stages of life, or make a list of birthday memories, but then I decided I would not bore you with those. And 27 things is a lot. 15 would be more manageable. But I'm not 15. So, how about some cute pictures? People like cute pictures, right? So, here are some of my favorite pictures of me as a small child. Correction: Small(er) child.

I cracked up when I saw this. Looks like some things never change. Even then, you could dress me up but couldn't take me anywhere.

I have had a great day with friends and family celebrating my 27 years of life. I am blessed. I am loved. And I think of all the next year may hold and I am hopeful.

Thanks, mom, for giving me life 27 years ago. (Can you believe it???) I'm sorry I cried for the first 3 months solid. At least I was cute, right?
